Phase 1 Trade Deal Officially Signed

President Trump and Vice Premier Liu He officially signed the Phase 1 trade deal in Washington, DC on January 15as expected. The foundation of the deal primarily rests on one major trade-off between the countries. The U.S., for its part, will roll back some of the sanctions it has placed on China. In return, China has committed to buying $200 billion in U.S. goods and services over a two-year period.
